In this course, learners will participate in asynchronous (pre-recorded) video lessons, engage with additional instructional resources, test their knowledge with quizzes, practice new skills through multiple assignments, engage in discussion forums with their peers, and create a final portfolio to showcase their learning. Learners will also gain access to multiple resources that will help them stay current with the latest AI developments and trends beyond this course.

By the end of this course, students will be able to:
Articulate definitions and categories of AI, including common AI applications in education.
Apply AI tools to create original text, images, audio, and other digital content.
Discuss the implications of using AI tools in teaching and learning, considering impacts on educational equity.
Evaluate the strengths and limitations of various AI content detection tools and strategies.
Formulate policies regarding appropriate and ethical use of AI tools within their individual courses and instructional contexts.
Explore ongoing learning opportunities related to AI tools.
Compile a comprehensive portfolio demonstrating application of knowledge and skills gained throughout the course related to applying AI tools equitably and ethically in teaching and learning contexts.
